Not many of our top 10 posts receive an honorable mention vote. However, when discussing robots, it’s tough to leave off the Urkel-Bot. The Urkel-Bot was developed by, of course, Steve Urkel from the TGIF classic TV Show Family Matters. So, to my fellow Family Matters lovers out there I sincerely apologize for this malfeasance.
Much like the ability to fly, I firmly believe most people wish they had a robot at their disposal to do their bidding. Or possibly to just hang out with. A robot would be a great addition to any group of friends. Let’s take a look at the robots we consider to be the greatest of all time.
10. Rosie from The Jetsons
Wikipedia: age 45, is the Jetsons’ house-hold robot. She’s an out-dated model but the Jetsons love her and would never trade her for a newer model. Rosie does all the household chores and some of the parenting. She is a strong disciplinarian and occasionally dispenses advice to the family.
