Top 10 Greatest Cartoon Dads Of All Time

Cartoon dads are great because they represent, generally, negative stereotypes about a particular race or culture. That makes them great because we often see flaws in them that exist in us - we can relate to them and can laugh at how silly we can be.

There is one selection on the list that is controversial and some might consider to be a bit of a stretch. You should identify the selection once you see it. Let us know what you think:

10) Mort Goldman

A Jewish pharmacist, and one of Peter’s friends. He runs Goldman’s Pharmacy and is married to Muriel and has one son, Neil. Mort’s defining characteristics are his whiny neuroticism and his chronic hypochondria.

9) Henry Mitchell

Dennis “The Menace” Mitchell’s father, an aerospace engineer.

8) Ned Flanders

He is the next door neighbor to the Simpson family and is generally loathed by Homer Simpson. A devout Christian, he is amongst the most friendly and compassionate Springfieldians and is generally considered a pillar of the Springfield community.

7) Hank Hill

Hank Rutherford Hill is a fictional character in the animated series King of the Hill. Hank works at the fictional Strickland Propane in Arlen, Texas selling propane and propane accessories.

6) Stu Pickles

Stuart “Stu” Pickles: Tommy and Dil’s father and brother of Drew. Absent-minded toy inventor. Married to Didi Pickles.

5) George Jetson

George is 38 years old and he’s the husband of Jane Jetson (Age 35) and the father of teenage daughter Judy (Age 16) and elementary school aged son Elroy (Age 7). George likes to watch Hill Stars Blues and Spaceball with Elroy.

4) Homer Simpson

Homer is the boorish father of the Simpson family. With his wife, Marge, he has three children: Bart, Lisa, and Maggie. As the family’s provider, he works at the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant.

3) Fred Flintstone

He is the husband of Wilma Flintstone and father of Pebbles Flintstone. His best friends are his next door neighbors, Barney and Betty Rubble, who have a son named Bamm-Bamm.

2) Philip J. Fry

Fry is his own Grandfather. Episode no. 51: Roswell That Ends Well.

1) Peter Griffin

Peter Griffin is the overweight, dimwitted husband of Lois and is the father of Meg, Chris, and Stewie.
