From the day I first played it until the time which I draw my very last breath on this earth, I will always consider the Sega Dreamcast the most underrated video game system of all time. For those few fleeting years in which the Dreamcast was around and kicking, aficionados of the orange & gray system enjoyed many classic titles.
Today TheDailyContributor.com feels honored to run through what we consider to be the 10 best games from the Sega Dreamcast. Just writing this post makes me want to pick up some fares on Crazy Taxi:
10. Ready 2 Rumble Boxing
![]() |
Wikipedia: Ready 2 Rumble Boxing is a boxing game for the Dreamcast, PlayStation, Game Boy Color, and Nintendo 64 and it was released in 1999 by Midway. The success of the Dreamcast version led to it becoming one of the few Sega All Stars titles. The game is reminiscent of Nintendo’s Punch-Out!! series in that it features many characters with colorful personalities (i.e. Afro Thunder, Boris “The Bear” Knokimov, etc.); however, unlike the Punch-Out!! series, Ready 2 Rumble Boxing is in 3D, thus allowing for more control over your character in the ring, and also enables the players to choose whichever fighters they want.
