ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — New Mexico’s largest Target retail store received an unexpected surprise last night around 12:04 a.m. when college kids from The University of Connecticut arrived in search of a Beer Pong Tournament. “I knew we were lost when Lenny from Shipping & Receiving came to greet us,” Joe Walsh said, a 19-year-old undeclared Freshman from the University of Connecticut.

Walsh’s roommate, Tony “Big Tony” Zambiene, an 18-year-old undeclared Freshman, was driving a white 1995 Ford F-150 on Interstate I-84 heading East bound when the two spotted a Keystone Freight Corp. truck. “We thought we was going to a receive an escort all the ways to the tournament,” Big Tony said. According to Walsh, when Big Tony starts something he “doesn’t stop until it’s finished - no matter what.” Walsh claims that:
“Big Tony once ate 4 1/2 pounds of buffalo wings from Wings Over Storrs because he ordered it, started eating it, and then had to finish.” Big Tony has earned fame at the University of Connecticut’s local buffalo wing shop, Wings Over Storrs, for eating an unprecedented amount of wings in each sitting. “Yous listen to me. My uncle Large Louie once told me, ‘You start a somethin’ you a finish somethin’. So bada bing. I started following the truck, and I didn’t stop until the truck stopped.”

Although the Beer Pong Tournament was being held in Boston, and despite several warnings from his roommate Walsh, Big Tony kept following the Keystone Freight Corp. truck until it reached its final destination - a Target retail store in Albuquerque, New Mexico. “And I was like, ‘Dude, Big Tony Dude, this can’t be the right way’ and he wouldn’t listen. He kept talking about some Uncle named Enormous Eddie,” Walsh said. The two roommates were both donning jerseys of former University of Connecticut basketball star Hasheem Thabeet - Walsh with the home jersey and Big Tony opted for the road jersey with no under shirt.
Despite the two missing the tournament, Lenny from Shipping & Receiving agreed to give them a table if they helped unload the truck. Walsh and Big Tony assisted Lenny with unloading the truck and as promised, received a table to play beer pong on. When the two came back to campus they quickly earned fame throughout their dorm. During the affair, Walsh took numerous pictures and uploaded them all to his Facebook account. He created a photo album called, “What up son!! We drive to Albuquerque just play pong in a Target parking lot! GangstaaZ!”
One can only assume Big Tony had a hand in naming the photo album.
