I had to play many of these games in secrecy when I was younger and I’ll never forget booting up Doom from a Dos Prompt. If your mom ever catches you playing these games you’ll probably be grounded - or worse, you’ll lose your dessert. The games that make this list are known for their extreme and gruesome violence or sexual content. Some of these games have been banned in countries. But the one common thing about these games is they’re all great.
People who think video games cause violence, or worse, clearly don’t understand them. Playing a violent video, or a game with strong sexual content, is no different than reading a book with same. You never hear studies that say, “Reading book cause violence”. Yet, what’s the difference?
